Retaining Walls

Quality from the base up.

Quality from the base up.

Our wall construction process starts with a carefully excavated trench, reinforced with rebar and poured with 3000 psi concrete for a solid foundation. We then stack each block using masonry glue, ensuring precise positioning and leveling. Behind the wall, we place 8 inches of 3/4" gravel and install a 3-inch perforated drain pipe to manage water flow, complemented by a weed barrier to prevent seepage and erosion. Finally, the wall is filled with 3000 psi concrete, providing lasting strength and stability.

Stackable

Walls

  • We excavate 9 inches and lay down 6 inches of Class 2 road base. To further ensure stability, we install a bottom block set in 3 inches of concrete, providing a robust foundation for your project.

  • We place 8 inches of 3/4" gravel behind the wall, with a 3-inch perforated drain pipe installed below the gravel to manage water flow. Additionally, we install a weed barrier along the dirt to prevent seepage and erosion. This setup not only supports the wall structurally but also protects against dirt erosion.

  • We stack each block using masonry glue, carefully checking for proper positioning and leveling. This meticulous process ensures a stable and perfectly level finished wall.

Cinderblock
Walls

  • We trench to a width of 30 inches and a depth of 24 inches, reinforcing the footing with 1/2" rebar installed both diagonally and horizontally. We then pour 3000 psi concrete to create a strong, durable foundation.

  • We lay down each block and reinforce the wall with rebar installed both horizontally and vertically, providing added strength and support.

  • Once the wall is fully constructed, we fill it with 3000 psi concrete to ensure a strong, stable, and secure structure.
